Our experiences from security migrations go back to 1994, when we developed an 'experimental' version of a tool to convert a CA-ACF2 database to RACF. That tool was subsequently dropped, and a new approach was taken, forming the first release of PFA. Later on, the first release of PFT was born. Since then, these tools have been used during numerous migrations to RACF, all around the globe. The gained experience has been used, and continues to be used, to improve the quality and the usability of the tools. We have provided our services and tools to the customers in close co-operation with companies such as Computerbility Ltd. (no longer among us), Vanguard Integrity Professionals Ltd., Jeeves UK Ltd., Coveford Data Systems Ltd., and Software Consulting Services (Pty) Ltd.. PF-One Consulting is based in Spain. We are members of IBM's PartnerWorld for Developers program, we have our own mainframe development environment, and our tools are listed in the Global Solutions Directory. We have extensive experience of IBM mainframe environments (do you remember the 1401 and S/360?), systems programming in particular.
